Hello beautiful friends and members of WOWI:
We hope that this email finds you all in good health and hope your summer was fabulous.
We are excited to announce that this year's Oktoberfest Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
This fundraiser has been our biggest fundraiser in the past 12 years and it only gets bigger and better every year. The bulk of the funds raised at this fundraiser is from our raffle sales as our basket prizes are amazing.
We are reaching out to our members/friends at this time for your generosity. If you would like to donate a prize/raffle item/ gift card.
Your donation will be showcased on our social media and be listed and promoted the evening of the event. This is a great way to showcase your business or just show that you are a supporter of our organization.
For those of you that don't have the time to shop or would find it easier for us to shop for you, there are a few people that have reached out to us already to get others to "chip in" and we will do the shopping for you. $25, $50, $100 whatever you feel comfortable giving. We will do the shopping, wrapping and display your names, along with other donors for each prize. We figured that we can collect from a few and get bigger prizes, for example a bike, designer bags, etc.
We do ask that your donation has a retail value of at least $50 as our raffle sheets are $25 per sheet.
WOWI is a 501c3 Non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible. If you have your own business or would like to reach out to friends that have businesses for donations, please let us know and we will get a tax exempt form for you.
